If you hate music but are uncomfortable with silence, then shove this garbage in your ears. This CD sounds like the background music in an audio guide to an aquarium. I think someone should do a remix album where each track has a guy talking about different varieties of marine life on top of it. This shitty disc has as much flavor as water, and it will make you stupider if you listen to it. I would love it if I could irradiate copies of this CD so that it would lower the sperm count of those who bought it.

Black Moth Super Rainbow - Eating Us (2009)

This enigmatic Pittsburgh 5 piece creates music as wildly bizarre as their namesake. These somewhat reclusive oddballs give birth to a sound similar to nothing you have heard before. Its probably what malfunctioning robots from a distant hippie planet would listen to while frying on peyote stumbling through a strange forest. BMSR blend electronic synth heavy analog grooves, layered with psychedelic hooks, stumbling rhythms & pulsating waves of trippy Atari like effects and samples. Pair that with front man Tobacco's distorted vocals which are sifted through a Vocoder machine making them effectively sound more like harmonious electronic babble rather than audible lyrics. Their newest release Eating Us has a cleaned-up, crisper production level which results in a more tightly honed beautiful mess of psychedelic-electro-madness complete with mellow bubbling synthy vocal explosions, uplifting melodies and an acid-heavy tripped out vibe.
